Chris Posten; Lead, 1st-2nd Tenor, Baritone
Chris started his music career in the early 1950's, as a child in the church choir growing up in the Oakland-San Francisco bay area. As a young man he learned how to play several instruments, and later became a trumpeter playing with Sly & the Family Stone and many others in the 1970's. He has been the lead actor in a Gospel Musical touring nationally. He has been the Lyric Tenor for the Oakland Symphony Chorus for three seasons. He sang the National Anthem for three seasons for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service. Past Executive Director of the Mary Ann Wright Foundation. Chris became a welcomed member of The Best Intentions in October 2016, adding to the unique sound that the group has come to be known for.
